Peachtree Camera Repair
Cameras get dirty. They also break. They get dropped, water gets on them, they go through life. Most point and shoot cameras really are not worth fixing. Fixing the camera and replacing the parts for the camera cost more than purchasing the next new camera out there.
However, when you spend big bucks on cameras $700 and up. You can’t afford just giving it up as a loss. So you take it to get fixed. I will warn you, fixing digital cameras is EXPENSIVE. Your talking about new cameras with new technology, technicians who are trained on the latest and greatest, Small parts made in another country and such… so it is expensive. But worth it. Take your camera to some other store in the Atlanta area or Southeast, it will probably end up at Peachtree. If you own NIKON take it to them.
If anything is wrong with my gear, I take it to them. Yes again, it may be a shock on how much it costs to get fixed, but it is a fair trade to have your gear working correctly. They are honest and a small company, read:they actually help you. They know what they are talking about. It is in an odd location but they have been there for a long time.
I also take my D200 Bodies in for regular cleaning. Nothing worse than having dirt on your sensor that ruins your photos. They even have the frequent cleaning punch card for saving money.
So don’t ask me to fix your camera, I have no Idea how to…. these are the ones that get paid the big bucks to do the surgery on our most precious gear.
